Ransomware viruses. NB !

We are receiving more and more reports of ransomware viruses.

It goes like this: One fine morning you want to work on your PC, and all the important files (word, jpeg etc ...) suddenly have another extension, and in the directory there is a file such as 'read this first.txt'.

In that text file you will be informed that all your files have been encrypted and whether you can receive a 300$ (or more) want to deposit into a specific foreign account. You will then receive the method to decrypt your data by return email.

We have already studied several cases, and unfortunately there is no solution for this.

The encryption is so strong that Even with the fastest computer and most advanced techniques there is no solution.

Moreover, paying is no guarantee that you will receive the email with the solution.

Good advice: Make sure your anti-virus software and firewall are up to date and always make a backup that you then disconnect from your PC (otherwise the backup will also be encrypted).
